ZANJICE Zanjice beach, the favourite one among the locals and tourists,
located in Lustica peninsula about 6 km away from the city center.
It is a place where you can enjoy a typical Mediterranean environment of charming
old olive trees, crystal clear waters and Mediterranean specialties of local restaurants. Great beach of Zanjice,
protected from the wind by the enchanting cape Arza, is about 300 m long and 10-15 m wide.
Transportation services from every major beach on the city coast to Zanjice beach are offered by a large number of private boat
carriers. The beach can be reached by land as well, however, a ride by a boat truly holds a special charm. Boats departing with about
10-minute frequency, over the period from 9:00 to 13:00 hours, while the returns are organized from 17:00 to 20:00 h.
Ticket price for the return boat ride is 6 euros. For a few euros extra, most of the carriers will take you further
wisiting highly recommended local attractions such as the Blue Cave, Mamula and Beach Miriste.

MIRISTE
Miriste beach is a part of a lagoon, which is seamlessly linked to the Zanjice bay.
Right near the bay is a small, charming island called "Our Lady", where you can enjoy the sights of medieval church,
while at the cape itself you can enjoy swimming next to a Roman fortress.
Miriste beach is one of the mandatory stops for all the boat rides to Zanjice beach.

ROSE
Rose is a fishing village of unique architectural heritage and unusual topography. Once the old Greek settlement called "Porto Rose",
located on a small hill peninsula Lustica - overlooking the town. Rocky seabed of Rose is one of the favorite locations
for diving and fishing. North of the harbor you will find a small sandy beach, in the shade of olive trees - commonly known as
"Little Rose". Is part of the majority of excursion tours around the bay.

PLAVA SPILJA (BLUE CAVE)
One of the many caves on the Lustica peninsula, but certainly the most attractive one. It is located about 9 km away from the city,
between the bays of Zlatna Luka (Golden Harbor) and Mokra Gora (Sea Cape). This interesting caving formation, with two openings of
45 degrees,
ceiling height of 9 meters and a depth of about 4 meters, produces a very interesting effect of light refraction, by which the Blue
Cave got its name. Make sure to take the opportunity and swim in the amazing azure of the Blue Cave!
Most of the boat trips to Zanjice beach include tours to this attraction.

MAMULA ISLAND
In old charts known as Lastavica, its widely accepted name Mamula came after the Austrian general Lazar Mamula,
who fortified it in the mid 19th century. During both World Wars, the citadel of Mamula was transformed into a notorious prison.
Visiting Mamula is included in the program of most boat trips.

STARA BANJA (OLD SPA)
The beach of fine sand, warm and shallow water, and is the perfect place for a carefree family time and people with small children.
It is known for its therapeutic mud, that has been proved to help relieve pain.

NJIVICE RIVIERA
Nivice area, about 4km from the city, is known for its rocky coves and clear water. Riviera is a destination of choice
for the fans of nudist beaches.
